Reflective Learning develops meta-cognitive skills and empowers students to not only consider what they know but give voice to frustrations, road-blocks or questions that arise in the learning sequence. Short video reflections, typed posts or podcasts require students to be concise and cohesive in their communication of learning. Additionally, shared in a collaborative space, students can encourage, teach, and support each other in the learning journey. The individualized nature of video reflections allows teachers to personalize learning needs and modify instruction.
